My 79 f100 has power windows. Anyone know if power windows were even available on these trucks in 79? I cant seem to find any info on the web indicating what year power windows were first offered.
I think it's pretty safe to say "that'd be a first" I've never seen or heard of that as an option our trucks.
Do you have any pics of the truck and these power windows?

Sure, here you go. Also, do you know what year they started offering that gas pedal?

Gas pedal is aftermarket, available at like Any auto parts stores. Also I'm pretty sure your power windows are the retrofit kit from lmc. Not sure tho as your picture doesn't actually show it lol

I wasn't asking where they come from, I was wondering if they were offered as an option on these trucks in 79. As for the gas pedal, I was joking.

Never heard of factory option power windows that's why I was saying they were from lmc meaning they did not come from the factory like that instead someone swapped it into your truck. Also was hoping you'd post a pic of the switches to see if they were the same as LMC helping to confirm it's not a ford product. Also provided the LMC pic in case someone comes across this thread and likes the idea but didn't know where to get it.
That joke definitely went over my head lol. I've been dealing with too many idiots in the f150forum i didn't even think twice LOL
Edit* you added pics while I was posting. Doesn't look like LMC but I still don't think it was factory. ND or Rich will be along soon to set the record straight tho

I didn't think they were factory either, but I am new to Fords. And if you like that gas pedal, wait til you see the hood ornament!

Oh now I'm intrigued lol. Just noticed you're in the Indy area, I'm in Avon just west of Indy. Let me know if you need any parts I might be able to help out!

Small world! As far as parts go, I am trying to figure out what the heck to do with those windows... this truck is mostly original and the interior is in great condition, California truck, no rust... but those windows. What do I do about those?!?!
Here is my other current project, almost complete... don't shoot me! I have a Ford t-shirt, I swear
