CPS Wire Harness

Greetings all...……

I want to replace the entire wire harness that goes from the CPS to where ever it terminates.....I see that the pigtail is available from Ford, but can I replace the entire harness to avoid soldering? if so, does any one have a part number??

You want to replace the entire engine wiring harness to avoid soldering ? I’m sure you have your reasons but that sounds like a PITA not to mention expensive. Is a new engine harnes even available or do you have to get a used one ?

Like Pirate stated, you have soldering or crimping in your future unless you replace the whole harness.

CPS Harness Pigtail (7U2Z14S411SA)

That's where I got mine when I replaced my CPS pigtail last year.

I did a bunch from the dealer, all were pigtails, and have to be soldered in, eliminated a few issues on cold start ups and such.

Thanks all.....I didn't realize that the CPS harness was tied into the main wire harness.....It's only 3 wires and the new pigtail shows 3 white wires....any rhyme or reason to the way they are spliced together?? I also assume there is enough length to the entire CPS harness to pull it to the top of the engine to avoid soldering under the truck???

Yes, you can pull it up to the top of the water pump to do your soldering and repairs. That is what I did. Make sure whatever you do is waterproof...
