I've been looking for the same reason as well, and I keep going back to just getting an acari mount and using my sound off mini led amber on the roof. Every strobe option I've found is either quite invasive or quite expensive by the time you buy all new bulbs plus the module(s).
I have one and my biggest gripe was the fact it was aluminum. Not a huge deal but I had to drill thru it to mount my light to it whereas previously on my 2015 f250 I just used magnet mount.
my father in law had a steel plate cut slightly larger than his light mount feet and used some type of silicone to mount it. He had it paint matched to his truck so when he wasnt using light he could just remove it when done.

Acari has a steel version in black now. My issue is my 17 is just enough taller then my 15 and it won't fit in my garage door with a light on top... Ugh...

nice I see that now. Wish it was available when I purchased.
Does anyone have the ford strobe warning kit available from ford installed? If so happy with/complaints? Seems expensive for what it is. I like the rear strobe location by the third brake light but not crazy on the hood mount option would much prefer mounting it in the grill.
I'd definitely recommend getting some advice from NorEaster MA. I have a much less complex setup than he does, but he really helped me get set up with what I wanted. I ended up going with a set of four identical, discreet amber LED strobes from Strobes 'N More in Rhode Island. Fronts are concealed in the grille and rears are mounted flush on my headache rack. They are wired separately to the upfitter switches in the ceiling of the truck.
I’ll be sending him a message. Just got the truck this evening. Only drove home and then to the store quick. So far so good. But we leave Sunday for a trip so I’ll get to really drive it then
