On my super duty PSD. I had a K/C light bar on the bumper that held 4 lights. I actually really liked and miss those lights. Where I love we have a wild burro issue. ( they like to stand in the middle of the road at night.) having extra lights to project forward and at a 45 degree angle is nice. Anyway I am wanting to put a similar set up on my EB.
So my question is. Does anyone have experience with LED driving lights? I know they are bright and use a lot less power. But do they project well? I have found 2 pair a lot cheaper then the K/C hilites. So I am hoping maybe they will.
These are a flood light pattern so I get a broad coverage are. Being amber they do get lost in the headlights after a bit. The company I bought them from has them in clear and in a spot beam which will project a good distance.
Here is a link to the company I bought them from. They also make the lights. They do have pics of their lights at night.
I run a Rigid Industries 20" E-series light stick clamp-mounted to the top rail of my Ranch Hand front end replacement. They aren't cheap, but they work great. 20" E-Series LED Light Bar
