F53 steering joint problem
Hey!
I have a 1999 RV with a Ford F53 stripped chassis under it.
My steering keeps seizing up after it sits for a while. I do drive this up into Canada in the winter ... lots of salt on the roads.
I "think" I have isolated the problem to the u-joint right above the steering box.
I can't find a part number or diagram for this anywhere.
Does anyone have one?
Do you buy just the cross ... or the part with both yokes .... or the entire steering column ... or ???????

Finally got around to that today. I am in rural VT and the dealer is over an hour away.
The joint is part of the shaft .... $270 ...ouch.
I did do a search online. I can save about $80.
