I can fix things, but this has got me beat. Truck is a 1990 F250 460 EFI. Bought it cheap not running, ended up being broken fuel line to the tank. So I replaced the tank, pump and fuel lines (went from dual tanks now to a single tank because the other system was not there) So now it just has the rear tank. It ran great for the first day, then slowly started running worse and worse to the point now where it won't start.
It has:
New Fuel Pressure Regulator
Fuel Pump and tank
Fuel Filter
Ignition Coil Module
Spark Plugs
Plug Wires
Dist Cap and Rotor
Air filter
Fresh oil
I'm at a loss here, when I can get it to run and idle it idles like a dream about 35 psi, when I get under load it goes up slightly but no significant drops or anything but if I hammer the gas it dies. If I feather it very lightly I can get it moving then once its up past 2000 rpm I can push the pedal harder. Something is screwy here, and I need the truck running as it has a bunch of truck parts that need to go to the dump! Any help is appreciated.
