BIG FUEL PROBLEMS!!!
I have a 93 ford f150 4x4 with a 351. It is hard to start. Takes a little while to start. And when it deos start it will act like it's loading up and then other times it will act like it's starving for fuel. And the truck has dual tanks. All the gas from the front tank transfers to the rear and the rear tank wont release any pressure, but all the vents are good and not clogged. I have replaced the front tank fuel pump, Plugs and wires and cap and rotor and distribter, fuel pressure regulater, fuel filter, and have put in a new map sensor. But it still runs like crap. some days it will run good. How do i find out whats going on?? I have checked the pressure on the fuel rail and it holds 40 pounds like it should. it will idle fine, but when you hammer down or accelerate faster than usual it will try to cut out and make a loud popping noise coming from the motor on the drivers side. Would the distribution box affect how this truck runs? i know the box is bad. Thats why all the gas from the front tank is going into the rear. But whats going on with the rest? I need help!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like you just have a bad FDM in the rear tank.
You need to start by replacing it and see if it runs OK then.
FDM = (Fuel Delivery Module) The thing with the fuel pump inside the is inside the fuel tank.
