A mechanic pulled some codes on my 95 E150 with the 5.0 V8. They are:
1) 122-throttle position sensor low (possible ground or open circuit)
2) 125 - throttle position voltage lower than expected-fuel control
3) 157 - mass air flow signal is low/grounded
The van has new spark plugs, wires, and cap/rotor. It sometimes runs rough and if you press the throttle from a standstill it will hesitate. When it is running rough I can sense a sulfur type smell. I don't want to spend even more money at a mechanic and was wondering if I should try throwing a new TPS and MAF sensor at it? There were other codes found but they pertained to the A/C evaporator and torque converter clutch.
