I have a '69 F-100 with a 300 c.i. engine. The carb that is on there needs to be replaced or rebuilt. Unfortunately, it's an AutoLine C-814 --- not original. Based on what I've found so far, I'm thinking that a Carter YF would be the one to use. Am I right or wrong? Are there any other suggestions? I'm not looking to have to make a lot of alterations. This is my first Ford truck, so I'm kinda new to all this. Thanks in advance for all your help.
Thanks Rich. After looking at it again, i noticed it said REmanufactured in Canada, not manufactured. I looked but couldn't see any lettering stamped on it. I took a couple if pictures. Maybe someone will know for sure. If it's possible to rebuild, don't want to get the wrong rebuild kit.
Thanks for the help Rich, I'll go with that. I watched a video from Mike's Carburetor Parts, and mine looked a lot like the 1100 he was rebuilding. I really appreciate you taking the time to reply.
Don't know if these will help but last one might work for you. Lots of people on here to help you with anything you need. Hmm a lumpy cam for it maybe ?? lol
