I'm a general engineer, i got my training on circuit boards on f15's, so my logic is when you want something to work, send power to it. My logic is if you don't want things to go wrong, don't send power to places where it's not necessary. But that's good to know, a completely foreign concept. i guess relays activating ground is safeer than relays activating power.

When you tend to be dropping things having a stray ground turn something on could really suck.
Nothing worse than dropping some object before you over the place where you want it to do the SPLAT at.
