my buddy says its normal for there to be a whistle (its hella annoying and moderately loud, i'm sure other cars can easily hear it) after replacing the pipes but i don't think he's right, so is he?
I've probably gotta tighten some of the exhaust bolts further, right?\
also i'm 99.999% sure it isn't the v-band clamp at either side as they aligned perfectly and were clamped to torque before reattaching pipe bolts
was insanely hard for a first timer especially after doing almost every upgrade out there and being just over it .. and having to pull the turbo again.... it was a drain and it wasn't fun at all.. farthest reaching back required from the whole job bar none
and i went with an aftermarket one off ebay for the cheap with good reviews .. cant complain except for the noise that i believe is coming from elsewhere as the integrity of the baffles looked/looks solid i just gotta tighten some pipes up by the passengers side starter which means i gotta unhook batteries again and havent gotten around to it cuz i been away
took it to mechanic he said the whistle's coming from the turbo up pipe (the one you all delete that connects to the EGR cooler) ya... can hardly find any for sale.. what gives
