They used to sell for about $60, but allegedly the dye or mold or what ever was broken. Now none are available.

So the story I got from a couple of different people that sold them is that there was one guy that made them and something happened where he crashed the die and he died when this happened. I know I payed to much for the set that I got but there so hard to find and I needed them.

Wow, have seen them listed on many websites but always out of stock. It seems there is little made for these 57-60 trucks compared to other year models.

Yeah the guy I got mine from has one more set but he’s keeping them in hopes of using them to get a new die made

That would make a lot of people happy, me being one of them, good luck!

I realize this thread is pretty old but it appears that cab corners are available again? I found them on Ecklers for $70.99 each. Part numbers 48-30527-1 and 48-20528-1. Does anyone know if this is correct or am I getting excited over a misprint? They sure look correct in the picture.

Thanks for the update! I spoke to the folks at Eckler's earlier today. I was told they have seven of the right side cab corners in stock, ready for shipment. The left side is supposed to be in stock by the end of the month. I purchased both sides. They promised to ship the right side tomorrow and the other side as soon as it is back in stock.

I know I found them at Macs a couple days back but to buy both and some new cab mounting hardware it's over $300USD for me including shipping and duties. I decided to suck it up and ordered a set too. Here's hoping.

Thank you Sir!!! That is good news indeed!
mine aren’t terribly bad although these will definitely make my life easier.

The drivers side is a little thin on the inside so I haven’t decided what I will do yet.

Eckler's turned out to be a bust. After not hearing from them for over a week about my order, I called back to see what was going on. I got the typical lies and excuses. We went from "your part will be shipped tomorrow" to "we have them on back order". I cannot believe any company can stay in business by misrepresenting their inventory even when specifically asked to confirm the status of the parts being ordered.

That's pretty disappointing. Not surprising for Eckler's though. I've been curious where mine was at too. If that is the case it'll be the last time I do business with Eckler's.

That's disappointing. I ordered some so I will see what happens.
