I have an 03 f-350. My problem is I have no brake, signal or back up lights, no 4-way flashers either. My cargo light will not go out at all. I have replaced every bulb in the truck. I replaced the 4 way flasher relay, the signal light fuses, the turn signal/wiper switch on the column. The running lights all work except the left(drivers)side signal bulb. It is new and I have replaced with several other known good bulbs(checked them, they work in other plugs). I have checked the signal light pigtail/plug and I have power there but the light will not light up. I have googled a whole bunch and did everything I could find including unplugging my trailer/tow portion of the rear harness. I have purchased and still waiting for a new headlight switch to see if that fixes the cargo light issue but would it prevent the 4 way/signals from working?. Please help!!
Cargo light is on you said , so is the inside dome light on also ?
my 99 , cargo light comes on with the door being opened , and off when closed , but can be turned on with the rotary switch , next to the head light **** .
I tried the rotary "thumb" wheel and it doesn't turn the cargo light off. From my google searches most say its a faulty headlight switch and I have ordered a new one but im waiting for it to arrive. I am hoping someone has some direction to help me with the loss of my brake/signal/4 way and back up lights that wont work. Thank you for your suggestion...
Update......I now have ALL the running lights working but still no brake/signal/4 way or back up lights working. It was the actual light socket/plug that the bulb and wiring plug into. I went and installed a new one and now all the lights are lit up. Still looking for help to get the rest sorted out. Thanks
