Boss was saying above - so maybe try to loosen that set screw (someone with a similar one) and see if you can slide the mast and spring up and off. If so, and there is a broken off stub of the original antenna beneath that should answer that question. I know what Boss is referring to.

The wheel is not a widow maker, which would be the Firestone RH-5° rim

Looks like a Firestone RHP two-piece design. Possibly the 16" x 5" - 5 x 5.5" pattern .620 offset X-40097. Innie nubs. Possibly the 1/2" narrower X-40096.

Basically the 5-lug version of this wheel. It is not banned and can be serviced. Stu can likely confirm.

Here's the back side of that 8-lug wheel from my last post. I believe this is the X-45045.

9 FIRESTONE 16x5.50 FRHP
5 MADE IN U.S.A.
66

That's a date code on the left indicating 9th day of the 5th month of 1966 - or May 9th, 1966.

In this case a 16 x 5.50 since it is the 8-lug wheel. The 5-lug wheel would likely be a minimum of 1/2" narrower.
