Can anyone tell me where to locate the reverse switch on a 1991 Ford E350 Diesel - automatic
Reverse lights aren't working and want to check/replace switch. I've looked all over... Also am I missing the fuse. I think it may need another 15 amp. I went to put it in but theres nothing there to hold the fuse in....?
The switch is on the driver's side of the transmission, where the shift cable attaches to the shift lever. It's the part with the wiring harness attached between the shift lever and the transmission. It's called the Transmission Range Sensor (TRS.) The old names for the part is Manual Lever Position Sensor (MLPS) or Neutral Safety Switch (NSS.)
