Couldn't resist the centramatic lure.

Well I bit the bullet and ordered a set of centramatic balancers for my f250.
I've always had to re balance my tires about every 10k.
I've ran Goodyear fierce attitude 35x12.50 cent's I bought truck.
Always had good luck from them.
Averaging 50k miles per set.
But with the large lugs if I don't rotate them every 5k and keep them ballanced they chop out.
And I get bad vibration in truck.
I really like the way they ride and last .
Good on pavement and great out in pastures I'm always in with cattle trailers.
Love the 10 play rating.
And I work for Goodyear in Beaumont TX.
We get good discounts.
Was paying $350 per tire.
With discount $390 for two out the door.
I just put two new tires on front. Maybe 1000 miles ago.
Back two have maybe 20k miles.
So it would be a good time to see if they make any difference on new .
Or prolong older tires.
I'll try to post pics of tire condition tomorrow.
And post update millage pics as time goes by.
$225 shipped to house .
$50 per rotation every 10k won't take long to pay for themselves.

I've been tempted, but virtually never have to re-balance the Michelins I run, so there is no payback for me. Even if I did re-balance, where I get my tires includes lifetime balance and rotation at no additional charge.

I never knew you lived in Beaumont! We lived there for 9 years (1997-2006) in the Old Town Historic District (off Hazel). I bought my F250 in Houston on the Saturday before I left Beaumont to move here to Birmingham. One of the Asst ScoutMasters in our BSA troop worked in management there at Goodyear, but I can't remember his name at the moment.

I am interested in the Centramatics for my truck and 5th wheel. Waiting to see if Timmy can come up with a discount of some sort before purchasing though since I am not in a hurry.

I've been at Goodyear about 12 years now.
Went through pipe fitter local union apprentice program out of high school.
Worked construction welding for years.
Wife got tired of me being off working and never home . She actually filled out the application for good year for me. I had no idea till I got a call asking if I'd be interested in taking a welding test and interview.
At the time I took a $7 hour cut and went from working 16 hour days for last 18 months . To 40 hours a week at Goodyear.
But it saved my marriage and I got to be more involved with my two boys. 7 and 10 years old at the time.
I live in kountze . About 20 miles north of Beaumont.
Had a few good guys (muckster) from forum come visit me and others spend hours on phone talking when I had my first of 5 back surgery's. Results of a hard life I guess.
But ivI' meet some great people here . And could never pay back what I've learned here.
Hope all is well with you and yours.
Don Smith.
