I have a problem with my tach, I have a 92 Ford f150 5.0. I drove it Fri the tach worked fine. Sunday I cleaned the carpets, drove it Monday the tach doesn't work. Is there anything under the carpet or on the floor that would cause this to happen? Or could it be unrelated to the carpet cleaning. Haven't had a chance to look at it, wanted to run it by more knowledgeable people, to save time on this issue.

Possible humidity in the cab would be my guess.
