Hi, need a little help with replacing a radius arm bushing. Due to a cracked mounting bracket, I'm replacing mine. Problem is, they came with no diagram or instructions and dont even resemble the stock ones.. Including a pic of the order i installed the first one ( front of vehicle to the right. I originally had the large blue bushing on the front side but when I got everything back together the wheel was about a half inch too far forward. Swapping the bushings put it back where its supposed to be but there's very little space between the cupped wa
slide the black sleeve to the smaller bushing. Then swap the washers. Put the cupped washer and big cone on first, then the bracket, then the black sleeve, small bushing, and flat washer. Then the nut. Make sure to grease the bushings all over with the grease they should have supplied.
If those are the blue MOOG bushings........they are junk! Got them on my Bronco and they are noisy.....pops and snaps when turning......even lubed!! (I think they're plastic) Did them on my bosses old F150 with the same results! I've got urethane radius and pivot bushings.....just gotta install them!
