It didn’t take long for me to have my first mishap. This morning on the way to work, my passenger side mirror smacked one of those construction poles used to hold up the orange netting since the workers thought it would be a great idea to stake it up right on the side of a very narrow road with no shoulder. It broke the signal/spot light lense on the mirror and put a gouge in the housing.
Ive already ordered the light from Tasca but am curious as to whether the housing is available. I’ve looked on fordparts.com and they don’t list a part number for it. Does anybody know if this is available?
I recently did the same thing with my 2017 F150. I ordered the indicator assembly from Raceway Ford. They might have the other part that you are looking for. The replacement wasn't too difficult, besides trying to undo all the clips around the mirrors being careful not to break them.
copper1977, were you able to find a replacement part for just the back casing on the side mirror assembly? I recently damaged my mirror breaking the puddle light and cracking the black casing on the back of the mirror. I have also had trouble finding a part for just that outer shell. Thanks.

I think your only options are to buy a complete new housing assembly or find a used one. I personally would search for a used one.
Your housing isn't cracked or broken, just scuffed. Makes you wish for mirror housing touch up paint.
I know that and I cleaned it as best I could so it’s very hard to notice any scuffs. It’s been like that for 3 years now and I’m glad I didn’t spend any money on a new mirror for a scuff. That was the first oopsie in a new truck so I was a little more **** about it back then than I am now.
