I'm from down the hall at the 48 - 56 forum and I'm working on my 54 F100 restoration. I purchased a set of four mounted tires on wheels from a guy with a 58 F100. He replaced them with new wider steelies with coker wide white wall radials. The tires on my rims are nearly new size 215 70R 15. My problem is one of the rims is not original to the 58. It has outie nubs so I'm searching for a rim to match the others. My question is, what years were the 58 spec rims used? What is the width?
Thank you
Bob
Bob - the wheel you are looking for is probably the 15” x 5” tubeless, with “innie” hub cap mounting, that was introduced in 1955. Depending on the reference I use it was fitted to F-100s through either 1962 or 1964. The original 1955 Ford number was TAAH 1015-A, then changed to B5C 1015-A. I also find it under Mercury 59A 1015. All these numbers cross refer to Kelsey-Hayes 25195 and National Wheel Rim Association (NWRA) X-40098. I also find a NWRA reference that says Motor Wheel Corporation made some under their number 34097. Used only by Ford. That seems odd to me because MW had little connection to Ford, unless there might have been a K-H work stoppage that led Ford to find another supplier. Stu
Does this look like what you’re after? It’s a K-H, but unfortunately for us K-H only put their numbers on a paper tag on the inner rim when new. Now long gone. Stu

Thank you much for the information. This morning used two straight edges against each side of the rim opposite where the tire bead seats. Then measured through the slot. It was about 5 3/4". I'm thinking it is a 5 1/2" wide rim. Does your reference info show a 5 1/2"?
Other listings on the link you sent show one.
Thanks again.

Yeah, looks to be Ford C5TZ 1007-D / NWRA X-45111 used from 1963-1966. K-H gives no cross reference to the NWRA number suggesting it is either a Budd or Accu-ride product. You might look for numbers on your wheels to help with the search. Also Bill might have an O.S.I. listing with a Ford number change that I don’t have. Stu
