C700 VIN Help
Hello all,
I've been reading all past c-series posts to see if I can do this myself, but alas I cannot. I am looking at a 1977 C-700, I just need a little help with a few numbers.
So far I've got that’s its a c700 (duhh) should have a 391 Petrol, and was built in Kentucky.... after that I'm lost.... x as a colour means what, transparent? haha. There is no one locally who seems to know much about these old trucks. Any and all help I can get would be GREAT! Thanks in advance to all.
numbers are ( I forgot this in my first post.... what a tool I can be...)
C70FVY47443
WB 153 (wheel base I get)
Colour X
type C704
body 116
trans M
Axle GHN
GVWR 27500 (got that one! I'm SMRT)
D.S.O B16683
On a side note, how hard is it to find the brake parts online (hydraulic)?
