VIN decoding help
So I thought I'd ask here....Anyways, I am looking at a 1986 or so Ford Bronco and I got to what as close to a VIN number that I could read. It is 1FMDU5Y80FA737280 I'm not sure if the "F" is a L or 1. I know that the 10th character is for the year anyway but I need help with the axle, trans, engine identification. That is what I could make out of the VIN number. If anyone can help me at decoding this I would really appreciate it. Thank you.
Keep trying to read it.

Here is what I tried to gues that your VIN might be. Not sure about the 8 or the 73728, but th rest of the numbers work.
1FMDU15Y8FLA73728
1FM - Ford Multipurpose Vehicle
D – Brake system - Hydraulic / GVWR -5001 - 6000 lbs.
U15 – Bronco 4X4 XL or better
Y – 4.9L I6
8 – Check digit
F – Model Year – 1985
L – Wayne, Michigan Truck Plant
A73728 – Sequence Number
To get the axle and transmission information, you need to see the sticker inside the driver's door.
