Headlights Depot
I was looking at these headlights on Amazon:
. I was wondering if anyone has used these and what the opinions were on them. I'd like the look of the Harley lights on my black Ex, but I don't want to deal with swapping out the header panel or cutting my current one to install them. I don't have any plans to upgrade to brighter lights or LEDs and this seemed like an easy alternative to get a similar look. But, I don't want to get them if they're crappy quality.

I just took a look at them
They seem to offer only the stock replacements. I was looking for the black look of the Harley lights. I didn't see anything similar on their website the to ones I linked. Thanks for the suggestion, though. I didn't think to look there initially.

I can't comment either way...except when I looked at the link, one of the pictures a reviewer placed makes it look like the lights on Amazon don't fit very well. Here's a screenshot of the pic. Perhaps there's something else going on?

I'm looking forward to hearing more about
VIPMOTOZ Rainbow ($318.01 & FREE Shipping) that Kai Herrmann got. I looked on Amazon and found these that look the same, but do not have the color changing ability. But for the extra $10, why not get the VIPMOTOZ rainbow lights?
Lastly, on Amazon, I found these for $265.99 & FREE Shipping
I'm only posting these others as they have the same "LOOK", Light Bar Projector Headlights With Black Housing And Clear Lens, but can not say much about the quality due to lacking reviews. The VIPMOTOZ Rainbow lights have the best description and also state " Low Beam uses quality glass lens". I can only assume the others are all plastic? NONE of the three show the side and none are installed. So, Kai Herrmann, we are waiting to hear back from you with more pictures!

I'd be OK with a little trimming, but not the big cutout required to put the 05 lights in.

Add to that, the reflectors weren't any better than stock.
I finally dropped the $ and got the 05 single-housing light (headlight plus turn signal and side marker) and the reflectors are light years better.
Again, it did suck to have to cut the clip, but it only took maybe 15 minutes per side with a Dremel to get it cut and smoothed out (wear a mask when you do this, people!)...and it was maybe the single best mod I've done after the V/Modded B spring swap...the reflectors on these are just amazing.

Ok, I know this has been discussed NUMEROUS times, so let me ask again, here. Will these 05 lights fit on a 00-04 with the header panel cut out as indicated even though the 05 has a deeper grill? Trying to make a decision here and I like the description and the supposed use of GLASS on the 05 ones Kai Herrmann used vs the others that are said to fit the 00-04 (still with trimming)?
$318.01 (note, they say 1999-2004, is that correct? Amazon states they will not fit my 2004 EX)

$265.99 (Amazon states these WILL fit my 2004)
Above are "Projectors", but robert_l_ross used the single piece 05 "Reflector" type. I do understand the LED ones are the ones to currently stay away from due to poor light pattern.
