I've searched FTE and can't really find the information about the Excursion headlights that I expected/wanted (I'm terrible at doing the advanced searches).
I've got a 2004 that has broken seals on both front marker/turn signals and my simple question is who makes the best direct OEM style replacements? I don't really want to pay the Ford $$ for them.
Secondly, I'm looking at possibly putting once piece HID projector style replacements in instead of the OEM style. The wiring should be too bad, but what about the cutting and fabrication? I'm mechanically minded but body type work I detest...it never comes out looking good for me...

i have had the one piece projectors, let me tell you..save your money!
the fitment was crappy, adjustment was a joke! i sold them for a loss locally just to get rid of them.
recently i saw they came out with a new projector headlight, i plan to get a set later on. the best part of these is you retain the factory adjustments so you can get the lights aimed correctly. now currently i run HIDs in my stock '02 headlights and i love the pattern and output so i have not went with new lights as it just for looks.
Rock Auto.com is great on lights and mirrors. I will probably go with the newer lights like 2002-2004. I believe they snap right in with little adjustments and no change in lights. I do not like the crystal glass look of the stock lights and prefer the euro look.
I've been hovering over the buy it now on these guys for awhile now. I miss the projector HID bulbs I have in the Expedition and in the Denali, but I don't think I want to go "euro" on this truck.
I have around 170 in these for the pair which included the harnesses and shipping. They are Eagle Eye brand. Had em for almost a year and no issues so far.

do you have a link for those? Is that an 05, or just a grill and lights? Were those direct fit if you have a pre-05 or did you still have to cut out the header?
I bought these a few weeks ago and love them. Just get some silicone and run a bead around the seal to make sure they don't leak. they even come with new bulbs.
you will have to visit your parts store and buy 2 Part #9008/H13 headlight pigtails and wire them in (I did this) to replace the 9007 plugs....or you can buy these adapters Riffraff Diesel: 9007/9008/H13 Conversion Harness Pigtail
either way, you will have to cut your header to fit the 2005+ lights.
Don't cut the header panel, it's a pain in the rear and fiberglass goes EVERYWHERE! Just spend the extra money and buy a replacement panel for an 05+ and save yourself a few hours of aggravation
Link in my sig shows my conversion. I would ONLY go with OEM lights for a few reasons, fit, quality, and light output pattern. Find a set of good used OEM lights.
Search amazon.com for 05 F250 Eagle Eye headlights and they will come up. Mine is an 01 that I converted to an 06 (bumper, brackets, grille, headerpanel) after my wifes wreck. If you do go with 05 style lights you will need to modify the existing headerpanel to accomodate the depth of the new lights or just buy an 05 header panel for around 75 bucks. An 05 grille will have to be modified to fit an older bumper if you went that route also. I got a hood, drivers front fender with fenderwell, bumper complete with brackets and fogs, and cowl for 500. Paid roughly 170 for the lights, had 75 in the header and 25 for the chrome tow hooks at the salvage yard from a theft recovery that had just been brought in. Not a bad haul.
