Thank you. You do need extra people when setting the bumper, we found!
Try setting a road armor bumper. We lifted it with ratchet straps off of my garage stairs. Otherwise it would have probably been 4 people to get it properly aligned.
We did have to go with the Ford upper pad/valance. 3 aftermarket ones came deformed, due to heat and box.
yes, I think so, Thanks! I ended up getting Ford OEM inside crash pad and put THAT inside the aftermarket pad, helped a little, I have since found a brand new OEM Ford bumper and will be ordering an OEM pad as well. Did you use OEM or aftermarket brackets? Thanks Again! VERY sharp truck!!
Looks good man . Where did you find the bumper if you don’t mind me asking? I’ve got everything on mine converted to 05-07 except a bumper because I can’t find one for sale near me that’s not beat all to hell.
Be careful with aftermarket valances. We had three delivered warped and deformed. We returned everyone. The Ford valance came perfect the first time.
Another option could be car-part.com. It’s a nationwide registry of auto recyclers. I found bumpers in there for good prices IMHO. Not sure what shipping costs might be though. Either way, it’s a good resource for those hard to find parts ie. the dual sun visors that my local dealership had no idea what it even was, LOL.
