Just got a set of 05 headlights and an 02 excursion front grill (gonna do the chrome billet inserts) that I'm putting on my 00 super duty. before I can swap the headlights I need to realign my front bumper. The drivers side is actually touching the head light so I have no access to the 2 screws that hold it in until I loosen up the bumper. I can't find any info on how to adjust the bumper so any help will be appreciated.
As far as the headlight wiring, what cars share the same bulb as the 05-07 super duties? I can't find any in the junkyard so I need to find a car that uses the same bulb so I can cut the pigtail off and splice it in on my truck.

I cant remember the exact location of the bolts to remove the bumper but if you loosen the mounting bolts, the bumper moves around a good bit for alignment. The easiest thing to do with the plug is to buy a conversion harness. I got mine on ebay for something like $8 and its worked out well. Oh, and when you start cutting the header panel, dont be surprised at how much has to come off. Youre pretty much cutting the whole center section from behind the headlight.
A replacement 05 header panel is less than a hundred dollars on Amazzon.
That is a much easier and better method to mount the 05 up lights.
It all unbolts in about an hour total.

but isn't the grill different too? I wouldn't be able to mount mount my grill correct?
I think the grille does mount different. Thats why I cut mine. You can actually do it with a jigsaw or a saws-all. I did mine with a hand saw made for drywall. It has a sharp point and wide teeth. It only took about 45 minutes to get the headlights put in.
I bought an air body saw from harbor frieght and the little screw attachment thing that screws into it to connect to my air hose. well the saw worked but that than connector leaked a ton making the job longer than it should a took. I hate harbor frieght, that's why I always use their air tools once then return them, but this time it wasn't the tool. well anyway I got the headlights in, I used the $8 harness from eBay. I loosened one side of the bumper, it moved enough to swap the light but I think I'm going to have to replace it one day. What did u guys use to secure the top mounting holes? as if right now I used What would fit, and they actually work very well, I may not even change them.... They're those little Plastic push gommet things that are usually used to secure door panels, trunk carpet, and inner fender well plastic.

Be sure to use teflon tape, to keep the fittings on air tools from leaking.
