This is a slight twist on an often asked question about converting to an 05 front end.
Either I need to re-paint my 04 bumper or replace it. If replacing, I am thinking about getting an 05 bumper to update the look, but not convinced I want to also do the grill and headlights.

Will the 05 bumper work with the existing 04 grill & lights? Also, do I need to get new brackets for the 05 bumper or can I use existing?

Yes it works but you'll have a decent sized gap between the bottom of the grill and the bumper. I'm pretty sure you'll need the 05 bumper brackets with it.

 

Plus '05 fog lamp brackets if applicable.

Maybe go w/ a light bar vs the fog lights?

I'll have to think on it - I just got a '13 back bumper, so it would make sense to update the front...

Jeremy05 - I like your F350 style step bars - that's another update I am considering over the molded plastic steps I have. That or a black nerf bar type step.
