Appreciate the info, did you do it yourself? reason I ask is I'm wondering if I will need to cut the floor hump. I do not want to cut on the truck I want to be able to return it to original when my son is done with it...

THanks

I can't offer any insight on that suggestion. I can tell you that something missing from the LMC schematic, or at least I don't see it, is the shift lever that connects to the shift arm that would go to your automatic transmission. On the column for the standard tranny you will see the two shift arms (one for 1 and R, one for 2 and 3), but your auto tranny will take a different shift arm. You can see it in the lower right of this link: http://www.fordification.com/tech/im...ing-column.jpg
Again, I can't advise on whether your existing column can be modified for auto shift.

Here's the original style gear shift selector lever assembly that Old Coyote is referring to.

C5TZ-7302-B - Transmission Gear Shift Selector Lever Assembly - 1 each

If you mean do you have to cut the hump to swap the transmissions, the challenge there is the cross member that runs across under the transmission. It will not provide sufficient room to get the c4 between the floor and the cross member. It can be removed by grinding off the rivets. At least that's what I did.
