I used Forscan today to turn off the auto stop/start, change the DRLs, turned off the double honk, enabled Bambi mode, and enabled secure idle. Forscan wouldn’t display the IPC modules, or the DDM or PCM modules I need to finish the display and power mirror changes. Any ideas why I can’t access those modules?
? When 'playing' around with Forscan, is it possible to "brick" your truck as you can a phone?
Not in the way you can brick a phone but you should heed the warning in the Forscan instructions to download and save the configuration of every module that Forscan can access. That way if you make a mistake, you'll have the info to go back to the factory configuration.

You might need to download and install the extended license. I had the same problem with the program not allowing me to access modules.
What do I need to use Forscan? Is there a list of things it can do on these trucks?
Here’s a link to the FORScan forum page that links to programming details by vehicle and year. There’s also a “how to” link that I followed to get mine done correctly.
