Transmission pan leaks.

My transmission started leaking bad. I replaced the gasket, a week later its still leaking.
I recently replaced the transfer case with a used one. Is there a seal or gasket that could be leaking other than the pan.
It is not leaking as bad but still leaves a puddle.

Blacklab1,
Normally I hang out in the 73-79 Forum, most of work / repair (enjoyment) efforts have been on my 77 F-140 4x4. But I have other Ford Pick-ups with automatic transmissions as well as my 2010 daily drive Ranger. Transmission pan gaskets can be a pain in the rear to prevent them from leaking and the leak is usually attributed to bent (un-even) oblong mounting holes. It would behoove you to closely examine your transmission pan mounting surface paying close attention to the bolt holes. If one or more appear oblong or un-even use a hammer with a solid surface to lightly pound them to make them perfectly flat again.

Additionally, in my experience I like the OEM Rubber gaskets with metal impregnated area around the bolt holes to prevent overtightening. Not trying to insult you. Ensure both surfaces transmission and transmission oil pan surfaces are clean and then use lacquer thinner to wipe them free of any oil residue. Then apply a light 1/8" bead of Permantex "Right Stuff" on the transmission pan, smearing it evenly, apply the gasket onto the pan and re-install onto the transmission. I don't recall the torque specs, but I know it's very light. I can achieve the torque specs using a 3/8" drive ratchet spinner on a short 3/8" drive extension and tighten in a cross pattern.

What year are we working with?
To be more direct what year pan are we working with as all the years will not work with the rubber gasket and the rubber gasket will leak with the wrong year pan.

Tried to fix a "pan leak" on my C-6, 3 different times, even resorting to cast aluminum pan. Finally found out that the leak was actually from the dipstick tube right above one bolt (hole in the groove for the o-ring) . Replaced the tube and no more problems. It's not always what you think it is.

I think the 1995 takes the rubber gasket and 1994 and older only will take the cork gasket.

A common place for leaks that get blamed on the pan gasket is the shift shaft seal so check that out perhaps. On the 4R70W it's behind the neutral safety switch so it's kind of hidden.

Yes there is a gasket that goes between the trans and xfer case as well.
