I am hoping to replace the valve cover gaskets, clean the engine a little and replace bad rubber lines this weekend. I'm guessing its going to take longer than just this weekend tho.

Busy weekend for you! It is never as easy as it seems it should be. It always takes at least twice as long as you suspect with all of the other things you run into along the way. But it is so nice when done.
I have found there is an unwritten law of the universe that states "A vehicle repair in a shop takes 1 hour and the same repair at home will take 2 days!"
In the shop a brake job took 30 minutes and at home it takes me 2 hours to get one tire off!
Decided to put on the wrong hood emblem since I have it. Previous owner tracked down most of the emblems and stainless but bought the wrong hood ornament. While im in lingo of what to do next decided it looks a bit nicer with it on.
I don't really know that more than a few 100 people would actually know the difference. To me it looks just fine!

Good hot and humid 1st Taco Tuesday afternoon of September Nick, Darkside and all of Utah. Hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend with friends, family and plenty of good food. I spent the weekend with Wifey, Daughter, Son-N-Law and grand son at a Kentucky State Park called Cater Caves SP. Plenty of caves to explore and get dirty in is just the thing for an 8 year old boy and a 60 year old child!
