302 issues

Hey guys just picked up a 93 f150 last week from a guy I know,it's got a 302 and he deleted the egr on it and it had a vacuum leak and it was stuck on high idle ,I changed the line that was dry rotted and now it doesn't high idle but now it runs like crap barely idles and it seems to flood it's self. it has had a full tune up done new plugs wires cap and rotor and new coil ....this thing has me puzzled ....after I wait a while it starts again and it's the same process

No code reader I know the egr code will be on for sure

You do not need a code reader. Jumper the diagnostic test port and count the flashes on the dash to determine the codes. Harder to do than a code reader but it works.
