Code 72 Question?

I went to Auto Zone and they gave me the code KOEO. I checked and at the beginning of the scan the #111 came up. After a delay Code 72 KOEO. I've disconnected the battery, but the codes keep coming back. Thanks

Strange. Go fordfuelinjection.com and from the list on the right, click on "self test". You can then follow the instructions and pull the codes yourself. Any codes you get should be 3 digit. There is also a list there of what each code refers to.
Maybe some of the experts will give an opinion soon.

The three digit codes came in about `91. MAF I think came in in `96.
172 is oxygen sensor not switching and system is or was running lean.
My thoughts would be to replace the sensor, clear the code and see if that fixes it.
It would nice to get an opinion from Conanski though.
