What is cetane?

Actually, both bottles boost cetane, though not at the same levels. And both bottles clean injectors, though not at the same levels. The only major difference is that the "Diesel Fuel Supplement +Cetane boost" (white bottle) contains anti-gel while "Diesel Kleen" (gray bottle) loses the anti-gel and opts instead for added injector cleaner and cetane boost. I use both products depending on the season and enjoy them both. Winter blend diesel tends to be a little doggie, so the Diesel Fuel Supplement +Cetane boost really makes it come alive.

As for amounts, I use 6oz for each of my 19 gal tanks. I bought several single-use diesel additives from NAPA and saved the bottles. I buy the Power Service products in the gallon jugs (treats 300 gal of diesel) and put 6oz in the NAPA bottles and take them with me when I need to fill up. It adds about 4cents to each gallon of diesel..... and worth it!
