Almost like an octane boost in gassers. I use it every fill up. Lubricates and provides the Cetane boost. I use about 8 ounces a fill-up, 38gal tank. No damage to be done, its recommended. Switch over to the anti-gel in the winter. Lots of opinions out here, you should get some responses. I've been using it for 2 years now, won't go without it. Also quiets my engine down quite a bit. I'm still up in the air on mpg improvements.

back when they removed sulpher from fuel to keep the tree huggers happy it removed alot of lubricity from the fuel also. Diesel kleen is a great way to replace the missing lubricity that diesels should have. I like stanadyne myself.

$10-12.00 for the gallon size last time I saw it. Was a Flying J somewhere in southern Idaho. I bought two Diesel Clean grey bottles.

I had a guy argue with me on here about how he said the sulfur was bad for your motors and caused the injectors to go out I use howes myself, but thats because I was able to buy 3 cases for 20 bucks.

Disel kleen is good it cleans the injectors and gives your PSD a little help in the accerlation departement as well. I dont think the mileage savings constintues the cost.

not to sound like I am correcting you but they have not removed all the sulfur form the fuel. Most truck stops offer low sulfur fuel and regular diesel fuel. I am not sure how big of a difference it makes. But I guy I work with said when his dad drove big trucks they would add a quart of ATF to their tanks to make up for the lower sulfur content in the fuel. I have used diesel kleen, but I have been using the Lucas cleaner lately and have been impressed by that too.
