Hey there guys!! So I know it’s hot as heck in Texas it was 109 yesterday and 107 the day before but I started hearing this noise while driving. So I’m headed down the highway doing 80 and it’ll sound like the truck is revving itself but obviously not cause the cruise control is set but it gets loud and sounds like if you were reviving it and then I hear this partial chirp noise? What the heck is this? The chirp will be consistent but like 2-3 secs apart. If I let off and go a little slower it will stop chirping but then when I speed back up it starts again. I don’t know how else to describe it
Could be any of your HVAC vents. Have you tried adjusting air flow direction or turning it all off?
Could be windshield wipers. Try driving with no wiper blades on.
Your truck is older so it could be any gaskets around the front losing their strength. You could use painter's tape around the windshield to eliminate it, or tape around any of the doors.

it’s defiantly something from the engine just not sure what
It's hot and your fan clutch is engaging (the "revving itself" noise) to add more cooling power. The chirping sound is most likely the fact that the fan pulley has been worn smooth. The 7.3 runs the smooth (non-ribbed) side of the serpentine belt around the fan pulley. Over time, it gets really smooth and slick and starts slipping. My old 2002 7.3 would do that especially under load (pulling my 5th wheel in hot weather). The dealer put a new fan pulley and belt on it and solved the issue.

Thanks! Is this a certain belt or the main belt? and is it a easy do it your self? Nevermind, re read that serpentine belt! gotcha, so the main belt
