Does any one else have or has it been noted about a wind noise coming from the lower, passenger side windshield?
I notice it above 60 MPH.
It's defiantly a wind related noise and kinda loud. I could turn up the radio (not a bad idea) but, my co-pilot gives me the evil eye when I do that.
Thanx SleepyGuy... not quite what I had in mind ...yet. But, coming soon I'm sure.
I have to share the upgrade $$ so I'm taking not a bit slow for now.
I had the same problem with a 2001 truck right after taking delivery. It turned out that the machine at the factory that applies the adhesive that seals the windshield had run out of material on my truck and left a 12" open spot right in front of the passenger at the bottom of the windshield.
Like you there was noise. However, when it rained (while at highway speeds) water would literally shoot out and hit my wife in the face and chest soaking her. She was just tickled with that truck!
I don't know that this could be your problem, but I thought I'd mention it.

Thanx to all for the ideas and feed back.

what vehicle did you come from?
you want noise - i can take you for a ride in my 2004 6.0L (and I've added 100s of lbs of insulation & hush mat)
Someone else mentioned a loud noise almost like a constant horn blowing while highway driving, he folded in his mirrors and the noise stopped!
Edit: I also recall similar complaints on the new F-150's, though I don't remember their findings. It was other issues in those instances, not the mirror, you may want to search the 2015+up forums. It seems that Ford is having similar manufacturing difficulties with the new 2017 Super Duties as they did with the F-150's, stands to reason they use the same Cabs. Good luck.

More than likely it is your door seal. Look up door seal mod. You take off the door seal and put a piece of tubing in it which makes the doors close tighter. If you need verification get painters tape (frog tape blue tape) and tape the passenger side door seam from the outside and see if it goes away...

did that (polly tube in the door gasket) to my 2004 (too)...huge improvement, but educating passengers to "SLAM" the door with enough effort to close it (fully) gets old....to the point that you'll open the window to help relieve the pressure.

I would not get that fixed. Just ask the lady to wear a nice white shirt because she looks very flattering in white. After I check the forecast for rain...

Just a side note. Treat the seals on the doors with Griot's Garage 10981 Vinyl and Rubber Dressing. I've used this stuff for 20 years on all of our vehicles.
Highly recommend it. It prevents hardening and cracking of the rubber seals on the doors as well as interior parts.
No, I do not work for the company but their products are top notch.
On my 2011, if the wind was coming from the passenger side, I would get a hell of a howl. Took it to a friend that owned windshield / body shop, he said leave it with him for a couple days. He removed the windshield then resealed it. Howl gone. FoMoCo gets some things right, FoMoCo gets some things wrong,
