Talking Bronco 2 stalling
I have a 1986 Bronco2 that is stalling when slowing down to stop.
This occurs between 2nd and 1st gears. I've recently replaced the dcap, plug wires, power brake booster and the TPS. I've checked to make sure that there ar not any vaccuum leaks. I'm wondering If I missed one. Any ideas?

Does it stall while slowing down if you put the transmission in N while slowing down? When you say it occurs between 2nd and 1st, what, specifically, is happening?

engine quits and needs to be restarted. It happened twice this morning. I have driven several times since then and it did'nt stall while stopping.

Had the same problem with my 85 bronco. Set the idle up a touch and I have not ever had to restart at a stop sign since.

Clean or replace the IAC, this controls the idle speed, adjusting the throttle plate is not the correct way to fix the problem.

Idle air control valve, looks like a silver film canister with a tail and two wires located on the upper passengers side intake have way back.
