Can't answer your questions. At this point I do not think they are 100% truthful with me as it is. I suspect they are trying to correct it. But the first couple of visits earned me responses like, "Waiting on Ford to do a software upgrade". Then I find out there was no upgrade coming. Now they are telling me for the second time, they are waiting for hi tech equipment. Only this time they told me they spent 4,600 for the equipment specifically to work on my truck. Have to admit, that sounds a little out there.
Way out there, Please take it to another Dealer, You are still under the powertrain warrantee for them not to fix it they said they replaced the Drive Shaft and it made it worst they were lying
right there they cant see because there nose is in the way!!!
I am now at 10 days and counting for this visit to the dealers. Last report was they contacted the Ford hotline and were told to perform a series of diagnostic tests. Not fun losing your truck for 10 days in a row.
Another update. My truck is still at the dealers, over 3 weeks this time. Drove by yesterday and seen it sitting outside one of the doors leading into a service bay. No update from the dealer either.

Three weeks is unacceptable. Are they providing a loaner to you? Not a Focus, but a similar F150?
My dealer by now would have me in a new truck. I think it's time you have a serious talk with the dealer manager. If not, walk in on a Saturday in the busy showroom and raise your voice on the poor service and Ford products. Sometimes you need to take the next step.
Dealer never offered a loaner. Already have talked to the service manager. I don't think it serves any purpose to constantly hound the dealer. They have a responsibility to keep me updated and they choose not to. Once my truck has exceeded 30 days being in the shop for the same defect my next move will be to send Ford a certified letter requesting they buy back my truck. If that step fails then it will be onto a Lemon Law attorney.

So do I have this correct? They have your NEW truck up on blocks. You are paying on it, or own it. You are driving a vehicle YOU acquired to cover for THEIR faults, and you have no issue giving them 30 days? YOU, my friend, are much more tolerant than 90% of the people, and certainly a better man than I. It'd be a cold day in h3LL that I could even think about not driving their loaner, or giving them 30 days. After one week, maybe two, they'd be replacing parts or I'd be signing on a new vehicle. I've been there before twice. And after a week, a Ford rep was there fixing it or finding a way. You, I believer, are being duped.
I started another thread about the Lemon Law and someone deleted it. So I will post it here.
Wish me luck! My truck has been in the shop for 31 days and counting (as of Sept 10) for a driveline vibration. Today I mailed a letter to Ford requesting they buy back the truck. If anyone has gone through this before and has any advice I am all ears.
How does Ford normally handle an issue like this?
Ford manned up and took responsibility. They agreed to buy back the truck and we are working out the details. I been buying Fords since 1971 so am planning on replacing this F150 with a F250 Lariat Crew cab short bed gasser. Gave my dealer a list of options and colors I would be interested in but they can't locate what I want so may be putting in a order for a new one.
If anyone here thinks the Lemon Law replacement is a speedy process am here to burst your bubble. With luck I should be in a new truck in January.
Sorry to hear about your troubles and I know the Lemon Law can be a long and frustrating process but keep on hanging in there and think about your new truck in a few more weeks. Try to have a Merry Christmas.
