I have an 2011 F250 gas. I get what feel like a wheel vibration at 48 to 50 mph. It then go as you go up in speed. Comes back as you go down in speed at about the same range. Had it at the dealer for a month they but new tires and one new wheel on the truck. Same problem. Moved up to Ford. The sent me to another dealer. Ford now tells me that this is a problem that exist in the truck and there is nothing they can do. Any one had a similar problem or any advise.
Thanks

My 2010 does the same thing; just for a couple MPH in the mid 40's. There has been several posts on this in the past and as far as I know there isn't a fix for it. Others have had many parts replaced under warranty such as drive shafts, rear gears along with wheels and tires to get it fixed to no avail. I just make sure I don't drive at the speed where I get the vibration.
Thanks. Glad to know that I'm not the only one. The last service manager told me that is was a combination of suspension and tire and wheel. In the mid 40's they act like a tuning fork and start a vibration which levels out as you increase the speed. The same for coming down.

I had a 2011 F250 Gasser, crew cab long bed, thought the vibration was custom wheels/tires. Reinstalled factory wheels/tires still there. Traded for 2012 diesel, same truck different engine basically, same vibration 40-45 mph, any road doesn't matter. I think it is "critical speed" issue. All engines, drive trains etc, have this, some are just more noticeable than others. Still going to Ford dealer to check it out.
My 150 Screw Lariat has this built in vibration so I'm getting rid of it and my thought was to go to the Super Duty. The vibration in my truck is when towing. Will I be facing the same problem with the Super Duty?

Probably!! Possibly!! Maybe!! But maybe not!! It just depends on the individual truck from all I can find out about the 'phenomenon'
My '06 F350 V10 gasser has the mysterious vibration at 49-51 mph. New tires and new brake rotors plus rear hub inner bearings didn't do a thing one way or another. I'm going to change the drive shaft support and u-joints this spring and hope it's cured as I do haul a 12K pound 5th wheel (it doesn't vibrate with the trailer hooked on). If not, well at 81,000 miles ...... gonna continue to live with the problem for a bunch more miles
my 2004 in my sig just started this 60-70mph vibration about three months ago. New tires, ujoints, double carbon joint nothing is fixing it. Next place is to a drivshaft shop to see whats going on
my 06 cc f250 with the 5.4 does this as well (47-52 mph). i think i read on here once about a tsb on the subject, and a dampener needing to be placed between the rear leaf springs and the frame.
i have a 2003 F250 XLT with the 7.3lt and it too had the vibration that came in at 90klms(55mph) and went out at 105km/h(65mph), didnt matter if you were increasing speed or decreasing it was there, i too did all the usual driveline compants, tail shaft balance, cetre bearing, tyres rims.
i ended up frustrated and fitting the original rims back onto the truck.
last month i found a truck tyre company that has a tyre balancer that spins the tyres up at 80km/h(50mph) but it applys pressure to the tyre with 2 rollers as it spins, to act as the road pressure applied to the tyres, i found 3 of my brand new tyres that were egg shapped, the tyre dealer replaced the tyres under warranty with 4 new cooper ST MAXX, he said to me these were beeter suited to the weight of the F250 as they have a 10 ply side wall that helps the tyre keep its shape.
well with the new tyres for a month being on the truck i have no more vibration. so it may not be your fix but it was mine and talking to the previous it had been in this truck since new.
hope it helps with yours.

That's a Hunter 'Road Force' balancer. Sorry to say, didn't cure the 'jiggles' on my truck, but did reduce it some. I just drive - fast - through that jiggle speed. Glad it worked for you, though
The dealer road forced all 4 tires several times with the hunter road force machine. Tires were matched to the rims as well. I had a conversation with the service manager this morning. He will contact the Ford rep to discuss the issue. It appears that the dealer is all out of options.
My truck is setup for towing a 5th wheel and has a heavy duty towing package.
I can understand a rough ride on washboard roads but the vibration is not acceptable.
Does anyone have a suggestion for an add on device to reduce the vibration?
A member in of this board in the 7.3 forum replaced his 2 piece and carrier bearing design OE drive shaft with a one piece from the above company and was blown away with how smooth his truck was afterward.
My 06' F-350 4x4 SC shortbed does this also, around 45 mph,,,it starts with the vibration, my truck has a one peice drive shaft,,still does it,,Recently installed Bilstein 5100 shocks,,still does it, ,if I tow my 4 ton equip trailer,(with leaf springs) is much worse when empty, with weight on the trailer is much better, when I tow my 16' Enclosed trailer (with Torshen Bar) No Vibration or very little.
Has anyone tried this,,,There is a Product out for Balancing tire's, something to do with Sand Pouch you place in the tire before you air up the rim,,the sand distributes around the inside of the tire and some how helps balance tires . Just wondering if this would help this issue!
