...........it sounded nice driving around town but the drone made me want to drive in the ditch.......
FWIW: Full Delete with muffler, 4"............it's loud as *** at wide open throttle. At 1/2 -3/4 throttle pulling the 5er...........same story. When it comes to drone, the 4" exhaust compared to 5" isn't as bad, but there is a little still when low RPM fueling occurs. I've played around with some different muffler options and resonators...............they all seem to give the same results, it's either pretty loud or too quiet.
Edit: If you do delete it, just keep everything, throw it back on before you trade it in.
Just bought a 2014 F-250 SD Lariat. 68K miles, very nice truck for $19k. It is deleted. Previous owner could not get that out of it trading it in due to delete. So, it is NOT fiction that most dealers are not chomping at the bit for deleted vehicles.

Sounds like you got a really good deal. I guess it depends on the dealer. I got 48k for my deleted 2015 Denali HD with 68k miles. When the time comes for me to trade my 17, I will spend 4-5 hrs. to install the EGR and DPF before I sell my truck for 19k.

And that is the wise thing to do. Unfortunately a lot of owners toss the old parts.
Yes, East Baton Rouge and the surrounding parishes. I wouldn't exactly consider it smog testing either...pressure test the fuel cap and check for codes. Gas vehicles in those parishes get 1 year stickers while diesels get 2 year stickers.
i'm thinking about doing the same thing to my 2018 when it hits 36000 miles. i plan on keeping it for a few years. I would think a deleted diesel would be a hot item to a private buyer? unless they live in one of the communist states. most of the problems with these trucks are emissions so i wouldn't worry about the engine or transmission unless you go crazy with the tuner. did she buy the accessories to completely remove the egr? or you just going to bypass it?
I did some research and found a pic of ram2ford's "hot wife". I guess the saying beauty is in the eye of the beholder is true.
Hey, if you can get past the glass eye and the wooden leg she’s not bad.
On on another note I would keep all the equipment that comes off. She just set it up with the dealer and I’m to do the rest. I worry only about the electrical gremlins that can pop up but he said not to worry as he would do all the programming.
