New to this forum but I have a 2010 f250 6.4 and I put a bds leveling kit and now if I tow anything I sag. ( had this same set up in my previous 2013 f150 and didn’t say as bad and tow same trailers) looking to put a air bag kit in the rear of the truck but I want the auto air up kit. Which kit is the best out there without killing my wallet.
I use the Airlift 5000 with on-board controller and compressor. Keeps truck level while towing and easy to adjust depending on road. As far as breaking the wallet
1) install yourself
2) look around for sale (found airbags for $100 on ebay)
3) Air lift had a rebate for the compressor and controller
Installing F-350 rear blocks (with new U-bolts!) might be enough in your case.
But that is the nature of leveling kits. Taking out the natural rake when empty translates to sag when loaded.
My '03 F-350 came with a leveling kit, and it drags tail when I fill the bed.
Yes! I'm glad somebody else gets it. You can be level when empty or level when loaded, but you can't be both. I guess that's why he wants to do the airbag thing.
