Anyone leveled a 2018 yet?

I'd like to see some pictures of the 2018 with a leveling kit.

77 and others, what's with leveling? This is something I don't understand. When towing with any of my last 4 Fords I needed to ad Air-Lift bags to bring it back to level or higher but being a littler lower in front is normal for every pick-up I've owned since 1959.
If your not using your truck as a truck by towing and loading up the bed, why have one? I guess I need a little learning about this.

Just to give it a more aggressive stance. I haven't done it to the last 5 that we've had but giving it some thought. Increasing the block at the back you can still have a bit of rake if you want it.
We've certainly towed some loads where we should have had air bags. Have a F350 for that now.

So because you tow with your truck, everyone in the world has to follow suit? Can I only hypermile if I drive a hybrid or go fast if I own a mustang?

I guess I need a little learning about why some think their way is the only way and everyone else should follow them.

I lifted my 18 xlt. Pics are here -> https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...-pictures.html

As far as why ? because I don't mind a little rake that is fine, but my 18 was way more that a little rake. When I would open the door to get in, I had to think really hard on whether to step on the running board or just step in. My son has a Tacoma that presents the same problem. It has running boards, but the truck is not high enough to need them.

I only done this leveling thing once before ( my old 1994 K2500). Now that one needed to be lifted both front and rear which I did. But my last truck (2006 f250), never needed a front end lift. It had a slight rake, but you needed a running board to get in.

As far as towing goes, I'm a firm believer in that if you are loading the truck up close to the Max rating for that truck, you need to do something to improve the ride position. Towing while being a tail dragger is no fun at all.

What's "stance"? Sounds like a BS word meaning something different to everyone.

onug.... I know everyone is different and has different uses for their vehicles.

So I guess if it took a stock truck and raised the front 10" and the back 8" or I lowered the front 4" and the rear 6"; I'd be leveling? And both would have an aggressive "stance" to its owner. Now I have been "learned" ! ! !

I agree with the more aggressive stance. Kind of makes it look more rugged.

thanks for the pics storage_man. I like the idea and I noticed that the rake seems more pronounced on the 18 models too. Its a little over 3 inches different between the front and rear on mine.

jimmy-six - all I asked for was some pictures. If you really need to understand/argue whether or not it looks better in your opinion then go start your own thread. Not trying to be unreasonable it just seems your picking things to argue about.

LOL...this is actually a good question. I’d consider aggressive as a more steep rake. But I can see how some might consider a leveled (zero or near zero rake) truck more aggressive. Especially if it’s paired with aftermarket wheels and tires.

I leveled mine because I believe the "cat in heat" look looks like s**t. And its a damn truck. The lower front air dam shouldn't hit the top of a curb when parking. And, IMO, it looks much more like truck should.

Jimmy-six --- I don't like the major rake. I tow as well and yes I use bags to keep the rear from sagging. It works, it's safe.

A lot of the people will call it a lift if they raise both front and rear, whether it ends up level or not.
As well, a lot of people will call it lowered if they lower the front and rear and it's level or not.
And a lot of people will call it a reverse level if they lower just the rear so it is level with the front.
