question for the computer geeks.
i have an Acer/Gateway EG70 laptop running win 8.1 OS.
is there anyway possible to turn off the auto zoom feature and right tool bar features?
50% of the time when i scroll the touch pad/mouse, it will resize/zoom in or out.
also, every time i move the pointer to the right side of the page it will bring up the search tool bar.
these are very annoying features that i NEVER use, and would love to eliminate.

It sounds like the zoom feature can be turned off in the mouse settings.. Probably need to look and see what the buttons are programmed for
As far as the toolbar that is called the Charms bar..
Right click on the task bar and go to properties.. On the navigation tab uncheck the first box under corner navigation

thank you Don, i think you fixed it ........
funny that charms was not turned on, but once turning it on and back off then clicking ok it now does not show anymore.
i will see what the zoom does. that was one of those "mind of it's own" things.
