If I remember correctly, and it has been while, it goes to sleep, but stays lit for a while.

...as I found out. By the time I got back to the truck, it was out. Just a longer timer than the Ford's.

I also still have the fault message that the TBC is disconnected....guess I need that fuse number/location so I can disable it. Anyone know what it is?

The P3 worked beautifully on the way home...left campground early because of the weather coming in today here in the mid-Atlantic. Not fun unloading RV in the rain.

The fault message is still coming on as soon as I turn the ignition on. I removed 3 fuses to do with TBC (Manual calls it EBC) and none turned it off. So if anyone knows how to turn off that message other than taking it in to disconnect it via programming, please let me know.

Found out if I hit the reset for the fault code it goes away until I turn off ignition then returns on start. I'm good with that reset until next start. And the P3 is a really great TBC ! I pulled the Ford TCB out of the dash and found a bezel in a local junkyard that fits (after a mild adjustment) in it's place nicely. Cost all of $5.00 .....

Glad you discovered the P3, Although I have an ITC in my current truck, I have had P3s in the past and would never hesitate to own one again. Just me, but that's my opinion.

FYI- You have to have the TBC turned off via programming of the dash module. It will not go away no matter how many fuses you pull. Very easy to do with any high end scan tool such as Autel or Snap-on

All I have to do to get rid of the warning is to push one button on the dash. The hour-meter/trip meter. One touch does it until I have to start it again. One touch is cheaper than any of the above.
