Rip - Off

Anyone else have issues with tailgate molding getting ripped off when dragging equipment or other heavy items out of the bed? Gets pulled off the gate step and the surround molding. Made a S/S edge guard... will see if it stops...

You might need something like this or you could just get a sheet of metal cut to fit and screwed on the back of the tail gate....

Yes, I have that problem as well. But with the tailgate step a fix is not quite as easy on mine

Yes! Sucks that the plastic trim for the top of the step peels so easily when pulling stuff from the bed.

Even the outside edge feels like a potential issue when I grab it the shut the tailgate. I hate how wide the tops of the bed rails and tailgates are these days.
