Swapping 2008 engine in my 2005 lariat; no oil sensor
So, I swear I looked but apparently didn't. This '08 engine doesn't have the damn sensor. I thought no big deal, it's just a low oil sensor. Doing a little reading apparently it's a oil temp sensor as well. Any work around or am I pulling the pan on this sumbitch? Motor is now installed btw.
I did just zip tie it to the trans cooler line block, seems fine so far. I thought this truck had an oil life monitor but, clicking through the menu, apparently not.
