LED Light Question

I’m in the process of changing all lights on my X to LEDs except headlights. I want to do the turn signals without installing ballast resistors to keep the blink rate at the normal interval. I need to get a very low current flasher to get the correct interval since LEDs present very little current load. Does anyone know of an aftermarket flasher that would work?

Google is your friend...

Amazon Amazon

They also carry them at your local parts stores...I think I got one at Walmart or Auto zone.

Why not use LED's for the headlights? I have seen a couple posts not changing the headlights to LED's. I would like to but is there a reason not to?

Thanks

I've changed over most all of the bulbs to LED's, except the headlights...
The 'reviews' I've read for LED Headlight bulbs has NOT been encouraging..
ONLY the expensive ones are looking good, ""BUT"" I don't want to spend that kind of money
for a whole new headlight setup, or upwards of $100 for just some bulbs...
I don't drive that much at night anyway...
I think I'd like to have them, because the blue light kinda looks cool at night..
""IF"" any body comes up with a good suggestion, I'd be interested..
I'm following !!!

I took your approach. It looks like so many LED headlights just aren't reliable enough to trust, especially considering the cost.

I installed a Novita EP27 but still had to replace the multi-function switch. I couldn't get the EP27 to stop clicking even when there was no indicator requested (and all it did was click and no lights). I had a side issue that I couldn't use the led's in my turn/stop lamps also with the original multi-function switch. Works perfectly now. Just mentioning in case you run into the same gremlins.
