Hey there,
Where can you find an exhaust system for a '71 f250 with a 360? LMC says that it only fits a 2wd, or if anyone knows that this does indeed fit a 4wd model.
You can't really buy one. You have to go to a muffler shop and have a system built to fit. That's exactly what Exhaust shops are for.
Wrong! All the info you need is on my thread "67 f-100 4x4 restoration". All the part numbers are there from Walker exhaust which lots of vendors still handle; and NO the 2 wheel drive right side header pipe will not work on a 4x4.

Any kit or parts you buy are going to be universal fit and will still need to be modified to fit the truck. If one doesn't have a welder and or tubing bender, then getting it done by shop is by far the better option IMO.
That being said, I've built my own header back dual system starting off with nothing but mufflers and 20 feet of straight tube.

Wrong again, these Walker/ Napa Soundmaster part numbers are direct OEM fit. They are not a kit. They are not universal. They fit perfectly. Just stop giving advice when you don't know what your talking about.
Try reading the thread that was referenced before commenting again. There are only 4 parts to the complete exhaust system. You deviate and deflect more than Hillary Clinton.
Listen spud, I know exactly what parts you are talking about. I've sold them, And used them.
Do they work? Sure. Are they the best option? That's debatable.
For a couple hundred bucks he can have a nice custom system made that will fit the truck exactly how it should. Or he could get all the pieces and try to put it together himself. It depends on his knowledge and skill set. I recommended a shop because it's the easiest and probably quickest way. That's why a lot of guys use them. For some reason you seem to have taken offense to that... I can't understand why, but whatever.
