This in in my 1965 300 6cyl 2wd.
Now that most of the grease is off I can get a good pic of all the numbers.
Would like to have it totally decoded, dates and all if possible. Knowing that the tranny has been out before(already had a new clutch and rear main seal) I would like to be sure of all the details.
Thanks.
There's no way to decode these casting numbers. The only way is by the TRANS ID tag that is located at the rear of the case. By now, it's probably missing.
Why would you need to decode any of this? Most if not all of the internal parts are the same 1965/72.
1965/72 F100/250 2WD's came with the Warner T-18. 1965/72 F100/250 2WD's & 4WD's and F350's came with the New Process 435 4 speed.

Mostly curious as to the build dates of the tranny to determine if it had maybe been swapped for some thing newer than the one that would have been in it originally in '65. Especially if that would make any difference at all if ordering parts for it. Especially with the tag being long gone.
I was taking some guesses like:
the H25%4 might be Aug 25, 1964?
and the K13-4 might be Nov 13, 1964?

If either are dates, trans would have been installed in a 1965 model.
A = January, M = December. The letter I is skipped.
